The hustle and bustle of the big bluegrass gathering in Nashville.

Get in on the Free Demonstration where everyone is welcome at every level. We'll show you what it's all about with plenty of hands on participation. If you like it - then you can register for some future jam camp.

What it's like

It's the big jammers paradise event of the year at SPBGMA (Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America). Jamming is everywhere from the lobby to the elevators to hallways behind closed doors and open ones too!

This is our annual Free Jam Demonstration where everyone is welcome. We'll all gather in the Belle Meade room where we cover a lot of stuff and get good hands on experience while we're at it. You'll get a good overview of what your next jam camp could be like.

Our Free Jam Demo is Saturday January 29 in the Belle Meade Room from 1:00 to 3:00.
It's a pretty big (and comfortable) conference room where we'll line up a bunch of nicely spaced chairs and spend a couple of hours getting the hang of jamming. We'll hit some highlights and we may take a closer look at a topic or two. Mostly this is for fun and to give you a better idea of what to expect at a real jam camp.

Famous musicians and a lot of not so famous ones roam the Sheraton Music City Hotel and are known to play with us regular folks too. There's plenty of shows on the main stage (gotta buy your tickets) along with all the up close and personal jamming all around. There's plenty of vendors, luthiers and organizations to keep you endlessly engaged. Look out or you may end up bringing a new banjo home with you!
